Animal Humane Society's Woodbury shelter is hosting a Special Kitten Adoption Event on Sunday, April 18.
Appointments for our special kitten adoption event have been filled.
This alternative option offers an expedited adoption process while helping to maintain social distancing from the comfort of your car. It is only available to adopters who are looking for kittens (not adult cats or dogs of any age).
Sign-up is simple! Please read the following BEFORE you schedule an appointment to adopt a new kitten.
- Adoptions appointments will be scheduled and processed within 15-minute intervals, starting at 9 a.m.
- When you arrive, AHS staff will greet you at your car. You will be asked to review our website listing to see what kittens are available for adoption.
- From your car, you will select the kitten you wish to adopt, as well as a collar and ID tag and any merchandise you may want to bring home with you (litter pan, toys, etc.). You may also request that your kitten be microchipped at this time.
- An adoption services specialist will call you to review adoption details and complete the adoption process, including payment, over the phone.
- Your kitten, as well as any purchased merchandise, will be delivered to your car.
We kindly ask that you wear a mask while interacting with AHS staff.
