Animal Humane Society opened its doors and hearts to 23 Beagles who were in desperate need of a second chance. In partnership with the Humane Society of the United States, the dogs were relinquished by a facility that breeds animals for animal testing.

The transport includes 15 adult Beagles ranging in age from 3 to 8 years old and eight 8-week-old Beagle puppies. They’ve never known love, kindness, or comfort that is, until they arrived at AHS.

Their care will be extensive, as we’ll provide each one with critical vaccinations and medication, as well as spay or neuter surgery and behavioral enrichment.
