Animal Humane Society has been recognized as one of the nation’s Top Nonprofit Workplaces for 2021. This national recognition is part of a new Top Workplaces program that recognizes top workplaces by industry each quarter based on specific culture questions in their employee engagement surveys.

“We’re always striving to make AHS a great place to work,” says Janelle Dixon, President and CEO. “We’re honored to be recognized by Top Workplaces in the national nonprofit category, and we’re so thankful for our staff and volunteers who make AHS the amazing organization that it is.”

In addition to this year's national recognition, AHS was recognized by the Star Tribune as a Top Workplace in our region in 2018 and 2019. We employ over 280 employees across our four locations, including 10 full-time veterinarians.
