The Pack is a group of young professionals who are passionate about animals and Animal Humane Society. We gather to learn about, take part  in, and advocate for the work that Animal Humane Society does while creating an environment for animal lovers to share ideas and build relationships.

August 13, 2-4 p.m. — Happy Hour with your dog, Sisyphus Brewing, 712 Ontario Ave. W. #100, Minneapolis, MN 55403

Have you ever missed out on happy hour because you wanted to go home to your dog? Now you can bring your dog with you to happy hour! Join us for a beer and some food on the patio with your pup. All dogs must be friendly and remain on a leash while at the brewery. No need to RSVP — just look for people wearing the Pack T-shirt when you get there.

August 23, 4–6 p.m. — Happy Hour with your dog, Boom Island Brewing, 2014 N. Washington Ave. #300, Minneapolis, MN 55411

August 27, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. — Dogs & Donuts, Bloomington Off-Leash Dog Park, Nesbitt Ave. and W. 110th St., Bloomington, MN 55438

Meet up with the Pack and enjoy complementary donuts before we walk through the park and watch the dogs play. Please meet us in the parking lot before 10:15 a.m. for a complimentary donut. Don’t forget to bring your own coffee! If you plan to bring your dog, review the rules for the dog park ahead of time.

How/when can I become a member of the Pack?

Paid membership includes one year of Pack events and benefits. If funds are tight, you can fill out and submit the Pack membership fee waiver application. The Board will review these applications and contact chosen applications to let them know their membership fees will be waived.

What are the benefits of becoming a member?

  • Access to exclusive volunteer experiences for the Pack, like “Precious Cargo” where you can help with the arrival of a transport of dogs by bathing puppies and getting dogs settled for their first night in Minnesota

The Pack was created in 2015.

What is the advisory board?

The advisory board is a group of Animal Humane Society staff and non-staff members who lead the Pack. They plan the programs, communicate with members, support membership, and ensure activities follow the mission of The Pack and Animal Humane Society.
