Owen

Five days after moving into our first house, my husband and I went to the Animal Humane Society to see a 6-year-old adorable cat I saw online. However, as soon as we walked in the front door, this little guy started showing off, goofing off, and banging his head against the gate of his cage. He walked back and forth across his cage following us wherever we went in the room. He was so cute and had a whole group around his cage but he literally kept watching my husband and I. With determination we pulled ourselves from going to see him and went to find the cat we came to see. She was wonderful and oh so sweet, but it was obvious we were a perfect match for Owen! We found out he was acting so silly due to the surgery he had done that day. However, he is still goofy to this day and that is why we love him! He is wonderful, sweet, and truly knows he is one of the family. We couldn't be happier! They say you should let an animal choose you and he sure did!
