Madame

Madame

After volunteering at the Animal Humane Society for several months, I finally decided it was time for me to adopt.  After "interviewing" countless adult cat candidates, I finally met an exceptionally affectionate cat at the Animal Humane Society in Woodbury.  Madame came home with me the next day, June 21, 2010.

Initially, Madame and I were on opposite schedules.  She wanted to stay up all night playing with her toys.  However, she and I eventually normalized our schedules and she finally chose to adopt me.  Now she likes to play in the evenings and sleeps quietly through the night.  Her favorite activities include sleeping on her back, relaxing in her basket, and playing with her toys.

I can't emphasize enough what an amazing difference Madame has made in my life.  As an AHS volunteer, I would recommend that anyone considering adopting get as much information as possible about the type of animal they are considering adopting and to take their time in making a decision.  Doing your research and meeting lots of possible adoptees will lead to a match made in heaven!
