Kitty

I adopted Lola from the Animal Humane Society when I met her at an adoption festival in Como Park last fall. As soon as I saw her gold eyes and she gently laid her head across my shoulder and went to sleep, I knew she was the perfect addition to our family. I put her on hold and slept on it overnight and the next day I went to go pick her up. We have renamed her Kitty. We tried a few names such as Neko and Professor Fancy Paws, but she didn't like any of them. Kitty was supposed to be temporary but I am pretty sure that it is her forever name.

Kitty is very happy in her forever home with us. Some of her favorite activities include chasing light reflections and shadows on the wall, playing with her feather attached to a string on a stick, and hiding in her cardboard box and jumping out when you least expect it (so she thinks). She is a hilarious cat and every child that comes over to our house for visits is entertained for hours by our wonderful Kitty.

Thank you to the Animal Humane Society for the work that you do. Thank you for doing extra events and festivals to help animals adopt people. Our lives have definitely changed for the better because of Kitty.
