Bill

Bill

I adopted Bill about a month ago. I had lost Rocky, my best bud of almost 17 years to CRF and cancer in early January, and wasn't sure I was ready for a new cat in my life. But after a month, it seemed so cold and empty without Rocky that I started checking the pictures on Animal Humane Society's website. When I saw Bill I knew I had to come and meet him. He was bold and chatty and affectionate right away. There was no question, I knew he was coming home, and I think he did too. Once he got done exploring his new home, he checked out his new toys and absolutely delighted me by wanting the play fetch with his toy mousies. I love watching him carry his toy mouse around in his mouth, and then he drops it by me so I can throw it for him again. He welcomes me home every night with a good game a fetch and by flopping down on my feet and rolling over and over on them until I get down on the floor and pet him and play with him. I love him and love that he has brought the warmth and fun and laughter back to my home.
