Any information that would be helpful for the person finding your pet to know?:
Abbie is highly friendly, social and affectionate but may be skittish in this situation. She will not approach if dogs are present. She may not tolerate children or other cats in this situation. It would be best for one adult, in quiet surroundings, to calmly approach her with a small amount of dry cat food (ONLY in this instance), calling her by name. Allow her to eat the food and gently pet her before picking her up.
Abbie is a little Houdini. She can get into and out of most anything. She is good with carriers but only for a limited amount of time. Abbie lives for freedom, exploring and the outdoors, she will become extremely agitated if forced to remain inside and WILL get out. If you find her it would be best to place her in an unused room in which she can stay until we can make arrangements or in a carrier if we can meet right away.
I absolutely adore my Abbie-girl, my heart is broken not knowing what may be happening to her. It appears that she may have been abducted so she may turn up anywhere. Abbie has the right to be back safe, secure and loved, by many, at her home. I am offering a reward for her return.
