Sergio is a one year old medium hair cat that came to the Animal Humane Society in May as a stray. He is a very sweet cat that we would like to highlight due to his lengthy stay with us. Because he is a stray, we don't really know how he is with other pets or children, or what his habits in a home would be; however he has been very calm and loveable while in our facility.

During Sergio's physical examination, he tested negative for feline leukemia, had no fleas, received a deworming, and a preventative dose of Revolution (which is a topical flea and ear mite medication). We noticed that he has some mild gingivitis and recommend a dental cleaning at the new adopter's expense.

While Sergio has been waiting on the adoption floor, he has been treated for an upper respiratory infection. We first noticed sneezing on May 20th, and treated him with an antibiotic through May 30th. His symptoms were mild and he has been symptom free since he finished treatment.
